Some of my watchers might like to know that I have got my piece 'The Discovery of Something Extremely Strange' into an exhibition in my town for local artists. I'm very pleased. :D
Also I have applied to put my oldest piece 'Goodbye' into another exhibition, and I have high hopes it'll get in.
Yep. Very chuffed.

Well done mate! I'm holding my fingers so you'll get the publicity you deserve!! :#1:

btw mate, how's it going with our piece, the deadline is in less than two weeks?

Thanks mate. It's up now and we went to see it today. It looks pretty good, considering they put it up against a white wall (it eing black). :D
For the collab I'm afraid it might be a little difficult fitting it in with the huge amount of school work I have for the next few weeks - sixth form is a lot harder than previous years! Bad news but I'd say that drawing people will take more time than I thought if we want it to look good in the end. Is there any chance we could abandon this competition idea and do a collaboration piece together without a deadline?

No problem at all mate
I'll do something alone for the contest, and we'll do the collab piece as our own project

Glad you understand, mate. Also, I'm slightly uncomfortable about the idea of traditionally created people on a digital background, instead of digital on a traditional background. The latter I think will create a good image because it's using digital to add a slightly newer more clean kind of element to the piece, whereas putting traditional upon digital acts as a kind of decrease in quality. Thats the way I see it. Any thoughts?

Well, since I did it a few times before, traditional+digital collabs that is,
I know that it can workout perfectly, and most likely uniquely too
I say, draw them up and we'll try it this way, and if it won't work, then I guess we'll have to try something else :D

Fabulous! I'm tremendously unhappied that I am no longer a little kid because Aardman animations has come to visit all the first schools in the areas to make stuff. :paranoid: Ooooooghh, I envy all the first schoolers. It all seems so unfair considering they all get free milk as well. :(
Do you take art? I kinda presume so. For my studies I have to get someone to throw water over me. There was no shortage in volunteers. :aim:

Ooh, nice, but what happened to the rest of the hoop? It isn't there. :eager:
What would be really good is if the paper was this size -
